Viewed from above, this watercolor gathers a pile of clam shells pressed together in quiet accumulation—smooth interiors exposed, edges chipped and worn by time. What appears quiet and still at first glance slowly reveals a shallow tension. Each shell is closed off by nature, built to protect their dark inside, yet marked by stress lines, fractures, and stains left behind by the world’s pressure and concealment.
